Washington WELCA bake sale is at the Old Fashion Christmas vendor show, Sunday, December 7 between 12-4 pm at the Northwood Community Center. Each woman is asked to bring 5 plates of baking to the center by 11:45. As an alternative to baking, lefse will be made at the end of this coming week at the church. “Thanksgiving Together” Join us as we introduce our newest neighbors and recent refugees to the tradition of Thanksgiving on Monday, November 17, 6-7:30 pm at United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. Enjoy turkey, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, bread, gravy, and pie! The evening will include conversation, live music, and a greeting from Global Friends Coalition. This event is sponsored by ELCA Lutheran Churches of Greater Grand Forks, Family of God (ELCA/UCC), St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Christus Rex Lutheran Center.
