Bishop Tessa Moon Leiseth will be here to install Pastor Steve at both Washington (9 am) and NELC (11 am) on Sunday, April 6. There will be a parish potluck at 12 noon at NELC.
Cancer Benefit Dinner for Tanya Maruska, is today, 11 am -2 pm at the Northwood Community Center. Pulled pork lunch. Free will offering. Tanya is fighting stage IV clear cell renal cell carcinoma. She has ongoing
medical expenses with travel to Mayo. Donations to a silent Auction are welcome, contact Kayla Evenstad.
We have reserved 17 spots for helping at the “Feed My Starving Children” event, Friday, April 11, 2:30 – 4:45 pm at Minnkota Power in Grand Forks. There is a sign-up sheet at NELC or contact the church office if
you are interested in participating.
NELC is collecting items for the Northlands Rescue Mission
in March. The shopping cart in the entry is for your donations.
Thank you. Items needed are: Men’s winter gloves L & XL, Men’s underwear (new) S-2XL, women’s underwear (new) all sizes, twin size fitted sheets, plastic/rubber flip-flops, white undershirts and tank tops, rice, cream of (anything) soup, canned vegetables, noodles, toilet paper, wash cloths, shampoo, body wash, paper towels, shaving cream, razors, tooth paste, toothbrushes (individually wrapped).
A portion of our offering that goes to the EaND Synod helps provide funding that ensures the on-going ministry of the synod office including heat, electricity, internet, and even cleaning supplies.
